About Hillcrest Medical Center:
Our facility is a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center and The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, equipped with advanced technology for cancer treatment and cardiac care.
Your Role:
As a Patient Care Support Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate closely with registered nurses to provide exceptional patient care.
- Monitor patients at scheduled intervals, accurately document observations, and communicate any concerns to nursing staff.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Engage in purposeful hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift reporting as needed.
- Carry out direct and indirect patient care tasks as assigned, including clerical duties for the unit.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Knowledge of patient care procedures and assistance techniques.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting supporting patients.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy.
- Completion of an approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or be currently enrolled in a nursing program.
