Key Responsibilities:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - DevOps will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based systems.

The primary focus will be on utilizing AWS technologies to enhance performance and security while ensuring seamless integration with distributed locations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable, and secure systems.

Specific Duties Include:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing React and GraphQL.
- Architect, deploy, and oversee AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, and other AWS services.

- Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to facilitate efficient software deployment.

- Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to assess performance, availability, and security metrics.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, conduct regular assessments, and apply security controls (IAM, security groups, NACLs, etc.).
- Optimize applications and services for distributed locations, improving performance and minimizing latency for users.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance.
- Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Author and maintain technical documentation for both new and existing features.
- Engage in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Address and resolve production issues promptly.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in AWS services and architecture (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc.).
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
- Understanding of security best practices and tools (IAM, security groups, NACLs, etc.).
- Knowledge of edge computing and CDN technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven capability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A satisfactory background check is required.
