Your Role

Under supervision and adhering to established standards, you will be responsible for hardware design and software programming for HVAC control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing detailed documentation and submissions to convey design and operational information to clients, consultants, and installation teams.
  • Responding to basic warranty inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting hardware designs from the standard library for flow diagrams, operational sequences, material lists, network layouts, and electrical schematics.
  • Executing software programming based on established design standards.
  • Coordinating the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submissions and installations.
  • Ordering and tracking materials for assigned projects.
  • Overseeing factory-mounting processes to meet schedules.
  • Assisting in the loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers.
  • Validating complete system functionality and troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
  • Gathering field changes and creating as-built drawings and software.
  • Maintaining communication with management and stakeholders regarding job progress and challenges.
  • Conducting site-specific training for owners/operators on system operations.
  • Completing necessary paperwork including time sheets and expense reports.
  • Collaborating with project owners to define engineering and field execution responsibilities.
  • Collecting and inputting data to monitor project progress.
  • Adhering to safety standards and prioritizing employee and subcontractor safety.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or 2+ years of experience in installing and/or commissioning control systems.
