Job Title: Mammographer-Radiology TechnologistJob Summary

Raleigh Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammographer-Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology procedures, mammographic imaging, and BMD procedures to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, mammographic imaging, and BMD procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assess patient's condition, prioritize needs, and respond appropriately to meet those needs.
  • Implement policies and procedures of Raleigh Radiology, maintaining standards of professional care and patient confidentiality.
  • Administer contrast to assigned patients, assist with specific tests and procedures as needed, and participate in the economical utilization of supplies.
  • Assure that equipment is always maintained and available for use, and establish and maintain open communication with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Provide accurate information regarding patient history to Radiologists for accurate image interpretation.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred.
  • CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Successful completion of registry for Radiologic Technologists with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be achieved within 12 months of employment.
  • Successful completion of registry in Mammography with ARRT must be achieved within 12 months of employment.
