Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Concentra is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations and supporting medical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, providing verbal and written instructions, and assisting with positioning body parts to be radiographed.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, positioning equipment and adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to specifications.
  • Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during x-ray exams, using radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to the Center Operations Director and maintain all x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping.
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient x-ray visits.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience.
