Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team in Danbury, CT. As a key member of our educational staff, you will work closely with students with behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to modify intervention strategies as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Valid RBT certification
  • Solid understanding and practical application of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Strong organizational and data collection skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from supervising professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
Salary and Benefits
