Construction Project Engineer

LHH is seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer to contribute to the success of our client's construction projects. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and successful completion of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, from design to completion, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors to address complex coordination issues and resolve technical challenges.
  • Interpret design documents, technical manuals, and materials required for construction, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organize and facilitate training for client personnel on project operations and maintenance, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Review and process submittal information to ensure accuracy and functionality, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Generate, receive, and distribute requests for information (RFIs) and change documents, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Conduct field surveys and serve as the technical advisor at onsite construction offices, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP systems within the overall project design, ensuring integration and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree and/or field work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial building experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365, with experience in project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera Project Planner).
  • Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks), with a strong understanding of construction documents, design specifications, survey theory, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well with a variety of trade and craft people.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or off-shift work as needed, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Compensation and Benefits:

$102-110k Depending on Experience
