Childcare Center Administrator:


Parkdale Private School is seeking a dedicated and skilled Center Administrator who is eager to positively influence the lives of our young learners.

Responsibilities:
Program Development:
As a Childcare Center Administrator, you will collaborate closely with our educators to design educational programs that align with state and federal guidelines while meeting the expectations of parents.
Staff Oversight:
One of the primary responsibilities of a Childcare Center Administrator is to manage staff effectively. This includes conducting interviews, hiring, and training personnel, ensuring that all necessary background checks are completed.
Facility Management:
It is essential for the Childcare Center Administrator to maintain a safe and well-equipped environment. This involves regular safety inspections, hazard removal, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
Parent and Teacher Engagement:
The Childcare Center Administrator will engage with parents and educators to keep them informed about children's progress and development, addressing any learning or behavioral concerns as they arise.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must be at least 21 years old and meet one of the following criteria:

- A graduate degree in a child-related field such as early childhood education, nursing, or recreation, along with six months of relevant experience.

- A bachelor's degree or endorsement in a child-related field, paired with one year of relevant experience.

- A minimum of 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours of college credit, including 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours in child-related subjects, along with one year of relevant experience.

- Two years of relevant experience, including one year in a supervisory role, with at least one of the following educational backgrounds:
- A one-year early childhood certificate from an accredited institution comprising at least 30 semester hours.

Child Development Credential Requirements:
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- 480 hours of experience working with children in a group setting, which may include a supervised practicum.
- Demonstrated competency in fostering children's development, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, managing classroom dynamics, and cultivating positive relationships with parents or guardians.
- A minimum of 120 hours of child-related training conducted by a qualified individual or organization, with documentation of the student's mastery and competence.
