Division Insight

ITW Shakeproof is committed to serving major Automotive OEMs and their tier suppliers, alongside Industrial Manufacturing OEMs, through high-quality metal cold headed fasteners.

Role Overview

The Commercial Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the division's organic growth strategies. Reporting directly to the Division Controller, this position serves as the primary connection between finance and commercial functions, fostering strong partnerships and developing expertise alongside the Sales team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Innovation, Operations, IT, and HR, is essential for driving growth initiatives across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue & Margin Forecasting: Lead the revenue forecasting process to establish both short-term and long-term projections for Monthly/Quarterly Outlook, Annual Plan, and Long-range Plans utilizing tools such as Saphran and real-time customer demand data.
  • Revenue Analytics: Conduct monthly and quarterly revenue analyses, providing insightful variance commentary and examining revenue by OEM, market, product, and region.
  • Sold Order Reporting: Compile and report on Division sold orders.
  • Sold Order Audit: Execute monthly audits of booked sold orders.
  • Quads & Quartiles: Prepare and maintain reporting for Quad and Quartiles.
  • Segmentation Analysis: Perform strategic analyses to support effective revenue segmentation.
  • Price & Cost Management: Monitor customer pricing and vendor pricing of raw materials, tracking changes and margins to inform negotiations.
  • KPIs & Dashboards: Develop and oversee Sales KPIs, implementing dashboards for KPI reporting.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting on sales margins as required.
  • Engage in ITW Toolbox initiatives within the business.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing, Accounting/Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial or finance roles within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial or sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience managing large datasets.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Power-BI or other BI dashboard tools is advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment focused on cross-functional collaboration.
