Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Banking Associate is often the first point of contact for customers entering the bank.

- Process a variety of routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments, while ensuring accurate balancing of these transactions.
- Foster friendly and positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Identify potential cross-selling opportunities and guide customers to the appropriate bank personnel.
- Develop the ability to recognize potential fraudulent activities and report them to management as necessary.
- Adhere to all departmental, banking, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- May assist with bank opening and closing procedures and participate in community events.
- Support the training of teller staff and assist in resolving issues.
- Aid management with operational tasks such as audits and bookkeeping.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior teller experience.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel between branches as needed.
