ITW Shakeproof specializes in providing metal cold headed fasteners to major Automotive OEMs and their tier suppliers, as well as Industrial Manufacturing OEMs.

Position Overview

The Commercial Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the division's organic growth strategies. Reporting directly to the Division Controller, this position serves as the primary link between the finance and commercial sectors, fostering strong partnerships and expertise with the Sales team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Innovation, Operations, IT, and HR, is essential for driving growth initiatives across multiple sites.
  • Revenue & Margin Forecasting: Lead the revenue forecasting efforts to establish both short-term and long-term projections for Monthly/Quarterly Outlook, Annual Plan, and Long-range Plans for the Division, utilizing tools such as Saphran and real-time customer demand data.
  • Revenue Analytics for Actionable Insights:
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly revenue analyses with insightful variance commentary.
    • Analyze revenue by OEM, Market, $/car, Product, Region, etc.
  • Sold Order Reporting: Compile and report Division sold orders.
  • Sold Order Audit: Execute monthly audits of booked sold orders.
  • Quads & Quartiles: Prepare and maintain reporting for Quad and Quartiles within the Division.
  • Segmentation Analysis: Conduct strategic analyses to support effective revenue segmentation.
  • Price & Cost Management: Monitor customer pricing and vendor pricing of raw materials for the Shakeproof Division, tracking changes and margins over time to provide recommendations during customer negotiations.
  • KPIs & Dashboards: Develop and oversee Sales KPIs, implementing dashboards for KPI reporting.
  • Assist the Division with ad-hoc reporting on sales margins as required.
  • Engage in ITW Toolbox initiatives within the business.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing, Accounting/Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial or finance roles within a manufacturing context.
  • Proven experience collaborating with commercial or sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to manage large datasets using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage daily tasks while multitasking effectively.
  • Experience with Power-BI or other BI-Dashboard tools is advantageous.
  • Adeptness in thriving within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment focused on fostering cross-functional value-added partnerships.
