Position Overview:

This role is essential in guiding and supporting students through their educational journey, ensuring they successfully complete their assigned online courses as well as blended and traditional instructional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and monitors student progress in various educational formats.
  • Maintains accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades, and other required documentation.
  • Collaborates with supervisors and school district personnel to coordinate educational efforts.
  • Acts as an educational advocate, working closely with treatment teams to provide necessary services.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Represents the organization professionally in all interactions.
  • Engages with the long-term and short-term goals of the organization.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of case management and rehabilitation techniques related to mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Awareness of challenges faced by individuals with mental health issues and knowledge of community resources.
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and procedures for treating mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid teaching certification in Missouri or be in the process of obtaining one.
  • A combination of higher education and relevant experience is required.

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of background checks and orientation training.
  • Ongoing professional development and training certifications.

Physical Requirements:

This position may involve sedentary work, requiring occasional lifting and movement of objects.
