Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Reproductive Health Project Facilitator. In this role, you will play a critical part in promoting sexual and reproductive health within the community through outreach, education, and collaboration with community members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with community members to promote health programs and services.
  • Conduct outreach in community settings, including schools, events, and apartment complexes.
  • Report insights and feedback to supervisors to inform program improvements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop culturally specific, arts-based educational materials.
  • Translate materials into multiple languages to ensure accessibility.
  • Develop lesson plans on topics such as menstrual health and family planning.
  • Incorporate reproductive health education into existing programs.
  • Facilitate Conversation Circles and workshops on sensitive topics.
  • Coordinate care with healthcare providers and community partners.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in community health or social services, particularly with reproductive health and immigrant/refugee populations.
  • Proficiency in data collection and technology for outreach.
  • Compassionate, culturally sensitive, and committed to promoting health equity and access to reproductive healthcare.
Working Conditions

This role involves a combination of community-based and office work, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Accommodations are provided to support different abilities in completing tasks. This is an in-person position.
