Job Description

In this role, you will serve as a critical component of our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) at PACE Southeast Michigan, working closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. As a skilled Registered Dietitian, you will implement the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess and address the nutritional needs of our participants.

Key Tasks
  1. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to each participant's unique needs.
  3. Collaborate with IDT members and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
  4. Provide education and counseling to participants and their families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.
  • Accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Registration eligibility or successful completion of the registration exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
