Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of underwriting tasks, adhering to established quality and production standards.
- Gather and organize data from multiple sources to facilitate informed underwriting decisions.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external clients to support the underwriting process.
- Perform data entry related to quotes, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare and issue policy documentation, including endorsements and legal notices, while maintaining comprehensive records.
- Utilize various software systems for tracking and reporting purposes, ensuring efficient information management.
- Engage in interdepartmental collaboration to enhance processes and contribute to team projects.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in an underwriting assistant role or relevant internship is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Workers' Compensation or Property & Casualty insurance lines is a plus.
