Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at J&J Worldwide Services. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for providing maintenance services as needed and/or assigned, assisting in a wide variety of routine maintenance activities, addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring that tools, materials, and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at the job site when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to trouble calls in a timely manner as noted per contract SOW.
  • Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance and/or Work orders in a timely manner as noted per contract SOW.
  • Perform a wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance activities, including carpentry, drywall repairs and finishing, painting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and appliance installations.
  • Prepare written materials, such as repair status and activity logs, for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
  • Repair furniture and building system components to ensure a safe working condition.
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
  • Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure the availability of materials required at the job site.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or a higher degree.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, wear protective clothing and devices when working with hazardous chemicals, and be subjected to hazardous gases, high pressure gases, hot liquids, dirt, dust, and oil/grease.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects to perform duties.
  • Ability to push 50 pounds of maintenance equipment and lift a minimum of 50 pounds of supplies and equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain Security Clearance.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Maintenance Worker will be required to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors, and may be exposed to hazardous materials, requiring the use of respirators and personal protective safety attire and equipment.
