Qualified Medication Administration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Medication Administration Personnel to join our team at The Peaks Care Center.
Job Summary:As a Qualified Medication Administration Personnel, you will be responsible for administering medication and providing treatment assistance to our residents. You will work closely with our caregiving team to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Administer medication and complete daily shift reports
- Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the healthcare provider's orders
- Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines
- Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
- Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living
- Document daily log of assistance
- Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year of experience preferred
- Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification. Certification must remain current during employment
- CPR certification
- First Aide Certification
