Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Machining Technician II to join our team in Torrance, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to perform secondary operations, ensuring high-quality parts are produced in accordance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate machines to perform secondary operations, including machining, grinding, and assembly.
- Learn and implement new machine setups and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Check parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments and submit parts for inspection as required.
- Operate machines to ensure proper functioning and release parts to the next stage of production.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate part production.
- Participate in SPC charting and other quality control initiatives to ensure high-quality parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a machinist or assembly worker.
- Strong knowledge of machine operations, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, and vacation time. The salary range for this position is $19.00-$26.00.
