Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Technician II to join our team in Torrance, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to perform secondary operations, ensuring high-quality parts are produced in accordance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machines to perform secondary operations, including machining, grinding, and assembly.
  • Learn and implement new machine setups and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Check parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments and submit parts for inspection as required.
  • Operate machines to ensure proper functioning and release parts to the next stage of production.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate part production.
  • Participate in SPC charting and other quality control initiatives to ensure high-quality parts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a machinist or assembly worker.
  • Strong knowledge of machine operations, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
