This position is essential for gathering, preparing, and scrutinizing financial and operational data from various sectors of the organization to generate reports that deliver data-driven insights to address business inquiries.

The role involves validating data, analyzing intricate data sets, and presenting findings in a clear and impactful manner to stakeholders, partners, and investors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement business analysis and data reporting systems for organizational use
  • Generate standard and custom business reports that illuminate critical data points
  • Develop and refine KPIs as the organization progresses
  • Assist in managing accounting and operational databases, performing updates as needed to ensure precision
  • Guarantee data consistency and address any discrepancies across various reporting platforms
  • Prepare and sustain business budgets and forecasts on a rolling twelve-month basis
  • Effectively communicate the outcomes of data analysis in both written and verbal formats to management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, real estate, or a related field
  • Proficient and demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formula creation, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, and optimizing data structure for formula efficiency) is required
  • Familiarity with Google Query Language and Power BI is highly desirable; knowledge of VBA and SQL is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy while managing large data sets, coupled with excellent data management and analytical skills
  • Able to identify various trends and patterns through reconciliation techniques that ensure data integrity
  • 3-5 years of experience in the real estate sector, whether residential or commercial, or a related area
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Basic understanding of Accounting principles and GAAP within the real estate domain
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Capacity to effectively interpret and convey information derived from data sets
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyage software
