We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team at Pursuit Glacier National Park Lodges as an Assistant Front Desk Manager.

About the Role:
  • This is a key position that plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of all aspects of Front Desk operations, including scheduling, training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Act as an example of excellent guest service for the team.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and managers to ensure coordination with arrivals, departures, and guest needs.
  • May be asked to attend weekly manager meetings.
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests.
  • Communicate with housekeeping to update the status of room readiness, arrivals, and departures.
  • Inform guests of special events or activities around the hotel and in the surrounding area.
  • Maintain records of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to supervisors.
  • Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets.
  • Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed.
Requirements:
  • Hospitality degree or 1-2 years related management experience required.
  • 1-2 years previous hotel front desk experience required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest.
  • Ability to work solo or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to Safety First and highest quality cleaning and sanitizing standards.
  • Organized with a great eye for detail.
  • Kind to others and always brings their best.
  • Good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions.
  • Helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile.
  • Relaxed, flexible, and able to handle curve balls.
  • Ready to have fun.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
