About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our telecommunications projects in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in infrastructure creation for the electric grid, modernizing today's power infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Project Delivery: Deliver electrical design projects from conceptual phase to completion, meeting budget and timeline requirements.
  2. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions, applying electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to complex engineering problems.
  3. Client Communication: Develop strong relationships with clients through regular communication, reviewing construction drawings, and delivering client presentations.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, leveraging innovative tools and techniques to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  5. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Engineering or related field degree from an accredited curriculum.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of utility networks, integration, and automation project experience, with 3 years of project management experience and mission-critical experience.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to handle industry, government, and public contracts, valid driver's license required.
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $185,000.00-$230,000.00 Annually, including a base salary and eligibility for a discretionary year-end incentive bonus program. We also offer an extensive benefits package, including insurance, disability, time off, and wellness programs, as well as participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) retirement program.
