Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As an Information Assurance Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security requirements analysis, security requirements definition, system security design, security architecture generation, security trade studies, and security verification and validation with little or no supervision.
  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by recognizing and incorporating various security designs and lessons learned.
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior levels of security work groups to lead security efforts and categorize vulnerabilities.
  • Communicate complex security concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Knowledge of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, and other government security specifications and guidelines.
  • Active cybersecurity certifications such as ISC2 CISSP.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, including nomenclature and tooling.
  • Familiarity with DoD security tools ACAS / Nessus, HBSS / EPO, SCC, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of real-time and embedded systems.
  • Understanding of Linux systems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $142,000 to $158,198 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work environment.
