Job Title: Financial Specialist - Asset Forfeiture Support

FSA Federal is focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security. We currently have a vacancy for a Financial Specialist - Asset Forfeiture Support. In this role, you will be supporting the overall mission of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO). Responsibilities:
  • Provides support in conducting pre-seizure analysis, including net equity analysis, developing exit strategies, and preparing recommendations for Investigative Analysts (IAs), the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO), and other stakeholders.
  • Assists districts by providing guidance on complex financial assets, support for preparation of annual Asset Forfeiture Fund audit samples, and other support as required.
  • Performs technical and factual research, recognizes potential issues, and recommends solutions.
  • Submits monthly reports to headquarters tracking the financial status of districts within assigned regions.
  • Monitors and supports financial reports of businesses being managed under seizure or forfeiture actions.
  • May be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial operations of assigned districts and submitting monthly reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or an undergraduate degree in another field with at least two years of related experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with at least six years of related experience.
  • Experience with an enterprise financial system.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and other common software applications and databases, advanced skills are preferred.
  • Proven commitment and expertise to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible; ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, deliver the highest quality of work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
