Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Encore Wire is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining our electrical systems across our campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation.
  • Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Plant operations.
Requirements:
  • Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
  • A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities:

Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside. Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, and/or standing.
