Job description: This is a full-time position reporting to the Project Manager or job site lead for the purpose of assembling, installing, and maintaining control systems, as well as other applications. We also have a sister company who installs utility scale solar.

Experience & Background: 1-year electrical experience preferred. If not, we will train you. Previous experience in the telecom, fire alarm, or solar industries helpful.

IS TRAVEL INVOLVED? Expect nearly 100% travel. We go where the work is. Mostly in the States of Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and others. This job is not for you if you have family or other obligations that require you to be home every night.

  • Depending on jobsite, you might be home every weekend.
  • Or you might be working for 14 days and home for 4-5 days.
  • Rotation depends on project requirements and where the project is located.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must currently live in Texas or Arkansas.
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Must have your own transportation to & from jobs.
  • Must be willing to travel - Up to 100%.
  • Must have valid, non-expired Texas TDLR license or Arkansas Electrical License - Or be willing to acquire it before your first day on the job (we will help you.)

PAY & PERKS:

  • On-the-job training - And we do offer a formal electrical apprenticeship program with Dallas IEC. This means you can work towards your Journeyman's Electrical License
  • $15.00 - $30.00 per hour – to start. Those with experience can earn more to start. Eligible for a raise after 90 days.
  • 10% pay increase + per diem for those traveling.
  • Payday every Friday - Via direct deposit.
  • This is a W2, full time job.

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly moves throughout jobsite areas, on all kinds of terrain, to complete daily tasks.
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Requires lifting to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing.
  • Frequently carries, lifts, or transports tools, instruments, and/or objects.
  • Typically bends, stoops and crouches on a regular basis.
  • Consistently uses stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
  • Works in all weather conditions, regardless of job location.
