We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of semantic capabilities to facilitate CDE discovery by topic, disease area, or domain.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the CDE-R development team to ensure the ongoing development of semantic capabilities meets user and stakeholder needs.
- Assign concepts from standard terminology systems, such as MeSH or the UMLS, to CDEs using automated or semi-automated processes.
- Educate submitters on the use of metadata, terminologies, and information models in the context of the CDE-R.
- Develop and maintain NLM standards, including health data standards, and terminology tools and services.
- Support indexing activities, including writing abstracts/annotations of literature for inclusion in NLM biomedical information resources and services.
- Align CDEs with existing standards and terminologies, such as USCDI, LOINC, SNOMED CT, FHIR, etc.
- PhD, MD, DO, or DVM degree; or MS degree with four (4) additional years of experience.
- Minimum ten (10) years of related experience.
- Provides expertise in specialized domains of knowledge.
