The Clinical Nurse Specialist at Johns Hopkins Health System practices as an expert in the application of the nursing process and theory within a specialty area.
As a key member of our team, you will advance patient care directly in the role of expert clinical practitioner and indirectly in the roles of educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, collaborator, clinical leader, role model, and patient advocate.
You will utilize current research/evidence in nursing practice and staff development, and apply relevant findings to educational programs and patient care in conjunction with the unit-based Nursing Professional Development Specialist.
What you will bring:
- Master's degree in a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) track from an accredited school of nursing or grandfathered in per MDBON regulations
- RN License Maryland State Board of Nursing Current designation as an APRN from the Maryland Board of Nursing
- BLS CPR certification required
- 3+ years of full-time experience in critical care

Salary Range:
