Job Description

As a Controls Lead Systems Specialist, you'll act as the on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. You'll perform or delegate tasks as needed to implement and fully complete assigned projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout. Your responsibility will be to ensure the overall financial results of assigned projects, including costs, project billings, and collections.

You'll maintain an effective balance between customer happiness and project financial results. You'll actively pursue selling change orders and coordinate communication with the customer during all phases of the project. Additionally, you'll ensure accurate execution of warranty and provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum of a technical Associate's Degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry. You must have relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems. You should also be able to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience and demonstrate the ability to perform work independently.
