Account Executive Security & Fire Job Description

The ideal candidate will drive sales of security and integrated systems to the construction industry by building and managing long-term customer relationships. They will utilize technical expertise to provide tailored solutions, enhance customer satisfaction, and expand the company's offerings within targeted accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of security and integrated systems to the construction industry.
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships with target and managed accounts.
  • Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise.

The candidate will work under specific direction to sell Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. They will perform the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships, seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience of more than eight years.
  • A minimum of two (2) plus years of consultative progressive field sales experience in a highly complex sales process preferably in the Fire/Security/IT industry; with a strong emphasis on Security selling.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels. Technically savvy

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care, as well as paid vacation/holidays/sick time.
