Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at Vandor Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks as assigned, including light assembly, spin welding, core cutting, and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic machine operations following written instructions and demonstrated directions.
  • Perform light assembly processes following written instructions and demonstrated directions.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year manufacturing related experience.
  • Ability to follow demonstrated and written instructions.
  • Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to read written instructions, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand/Walk for 8-12 hours.
  • Bend/twist for 8-12 hours.
  • Use of both hands.
