Job DescriptionThe Senior Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of maintenance professionals to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
- Lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related production issues
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure maintenance staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance/engineering/operations/technical role
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for a FDA regulated / food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of plastic material science and/or injection molding processes
- Knowledge of complex assembly equipment and PLC Programming
