Job Title: TIG Welder

At Aegis Worldwide, we are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations using TIG and MIG welding methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform aluminum welding using TIG and MIG methods according to specifications and technical drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to understand project requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to assemble and fabricate aluminum structures and components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and techniques.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience or equivalent training.
  • MIG and TIG Certification AWS D1.2 (or able to achieve within 60 days of employment).
  • Successful completion of CIT weld test.
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, PPE, etc.).
  • Deftness and attention to detail.
