Strategic HR Business Partner

About the Job:
Compass Group USA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to forge partnerships across all organization levels and translate HR needs into organizational performance.
Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing HR programs to support business initiatives, overseeing recruitment, guiding management through the employee selection process, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding personnel files. You will also serve as the primary HR contact for both Associates and Management, addressing Labor Relations and HR issues, and maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data with high responsibility.
Additional duties include ensuring data integrity in HRIS, managing the upkeep of the Associate Portal, and conducting HR training on various topics. You will work with management to boost retention, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will also oversee HR-related safety cases and workers' compensation and support performance evaluations as per Bon Appetit standards.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 7 years of experience in exempt-level Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingualism and advanced degrees are preferred. Key qualifications include labor relations experience, advising management, counseling employees, and managing HR areas like performance, labor relations, compliance, training, and staffing in both union and non-union settings.
