Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced LPN to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Monitor and administer medication and treatments as required.
  • Document resident care services and maintain accurate records.
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in long-term care settings.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
