Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Summary:

The LPN Unit Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
  • Monitor resident care and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Document resident care services and maintain accurate records.
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Supervise LPNs and Nursing Assistants to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
