Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Unit ManagerJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care
  • Monitor resident care and administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Document resident care services and maintain accurate records
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Supervise LPNs and Nursing Assistants to ensure effective team management
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to facility policies
Requirements:
  • Valid New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Experience in long-term care settings
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
