Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced LPN to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful contribution to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Monitor patient care and administer medication and treatments as needed.
  • Document patient care services and maintain accurate records.
  • Protect patients and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care.
  • Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in long-term care settings.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
