ABOUT YOU

You are a dynamic and driven professional, eager to contribute significantly to a team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of commercial ground-up and redevelopment construction projects, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and effectively supporting project teams to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their tasks safely, professionally, and promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support Project Managers/Directors in the recruitment and selection of project team members.

· Document and manage regularly scheduled project team and client-only meetings, including publishing agendas and meeting minutes.

· Assist in the oversight and maintenance of project budgets and timelines.

· Aid in the review, processing, and tracking of change orders.

· Analyze and interpret plans and specifications.

· Facilitate daily management of relationships and task completion with engineers, contractors, architects, and other external consultants.

· Provide ongoing support to project managers/directors in the management, technical direction, supervision, and coordination of construction activities.

· Assist in reviewing and tracking project invoices, preparing monthly reports for project managers/directors to ensure alignment of pay application amounts with adjusted contract values and completed work.

· Review project RFIs and Submittals to ensure compliance with client expectations and budget constraints.

· Conduct site visits with project managers/directors during construction to verify compliance with design documents and adherence to schedules.

· Lead the administration of the punch list and project close-out processes, ensuring acceptance and completion of the project.

· Regularly report project status to project managers/directors.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Communication is preferred.
  • Professional, organized, and eager to gain experience in managing teams of design and construction professionals.
  • Possess a proactive mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in all necessary computer skills required for effective project management.
