Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients experiencing critical cardiac conditions.

No two days will be alike, as you will need to adapt to the evolving needs of your patients. Your role will involve meticulous monitoring of vital signs and early identification of potential complications, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG technicians, and other cardiovascular specialists.

Position Summary:

  • Providing care for patients before, during, and after invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Ensuring patient safety during sedation and monitoring for any unexpected reactions.
  • Developing the necessary skills to manage complex cardiovascular cases.

Availability for holidays, weekends, and on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Cath Lab RN, with proven knowledge of cardiac rhythms, basic 12-lead ECG interpretation, and cardiac hemodynamics.
  • Active RN license in California.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
