Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms and coronary interventions, under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy units.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT).
  • 2 years of recent experience in cardiac catheterization or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
