Position Overview:

The IT Systems Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing skilled electronic, electrical, and mechanical tasks necessary for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and upkeep of information technology systems and equipment, including desktop and laptop computers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Conduct tests and repairs on electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system performance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems maintenance and repair, including two (2) years at the highest apprentice level.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work shifts, accept overtime, and be on standby as needed.
  • Proficient in the procedures, practices, tools, and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including diagrams and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to complete repairs efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Technical training in electronics.

Salary Range: $52,767 - $89,072

Contract Length: 260-Day Contract

This position is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of IT systems within the organization, ensuring that all equipment functions optimally to support educational initiatives.
