At Trident Systems, a LightRidge Solutions Company, we are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to lead and contribute on cross-functional teams to respond to new business requests. This includes directing and coordinating the activities of subject matter experts and technical authors to produce high-quality winning proposals on rapid timescales.

This role's primary responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the process to generate responses to requests from potential customers, including RFQs, RFIs, ROM estimates, and RFP responses.
  • Lead multiple concurrent proposals, prioritizing resources and deadlines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the capture manager to create and drive proposal schedules, and work closely with the proposal team to maintain scheduled deliverables up to final proposal submittal.
  • Coordinate and lead major project meeting/gate events, such as Bid/No-bid Meetings, Kick-off Meetings, Strategy Meetings, Pricing Reviews, and Executive Reviews.
  • Develop strategic win themes and discriminators through effective story-boarding.
  • Contribute to technical volumes, develop program schedules, contribute to cost volumes, and pricing.
  • Support the capture manager in developing and reviewing Basis Of Estimates (BOEs) for proposal pricing.
  • Coordinate the answers of Fact-Finding questions received from proposal recipients.
  • Support the pursuit of market opportunities in aerospace markets.
  • Maintain business metrics in support of Trident's business campaigns while driving for continuous improvement in the proposal process.

Requirements:

  • Experience writing, evaluating, and/or managing winning proposals on 3-6 week timescales.
  • Strong technical acumen regarding space-based electronic systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated team leadership ability.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, VISIO.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools, such as JIRA, SharePoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Driven to achieve results, solve problems, and remove obstacles and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Engineering, Communications, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of proposal management/leadership experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph a plus or have the ability to obtain.
  • Hybrid role, expected to be onsite ~50% of the time.
