Job Summary

The Guest Service Agent is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations. As the first point of contact for guests, this role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests and promote the hotel's offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the hotel's operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous hotel experience or customer service background preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
