We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a Supportive Teacher at Women In Need, Inc.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to children, assisting with daily routines, and helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with children, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Assist with daily routines, such as mealtime, toileting, and naptime.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices in childcare.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to children and families.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $16.79 per hour, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and holidays.
