Position Summary
Walsh University's Division of Mathematics and Sciences is actively seeking qualified candidates for a faculty role within its undergraduate Computer Science/Digital Technology/Information Science program. Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. This position is classified as non-tenure track.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering 24 credit hours of instruction per academic year while engaging in relevant professional scholarship.
- Assisting in the enhancement and restructuring of the current computer science curriculum.
- Participating in departmental planning and operational activities.
- Fulfilling appropriate duties on University committees and contributing to general service within the University.

Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate an understanding and support for the Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University, as a Catholic institution of higher education, and possess the following qualifications:
Educational Background: A minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
Professional Experience:
- Preferred experience in college-level teaching.
- Familiarity with contemporary computer science applications.
- Experience with both hardware and software skills is advantageous.
- Industry experience is preferred, particularly in application development.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Professional demeanor with the ability to engage positively with students, staff, and faculty.
- High emotional intelligence and a constructive attitude are essential.
- Capability to conduct interactive teaching, effectively utilize technology in the classroom, and teach in various formats (in-person, online, asynchronous, or hybrid).
