ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN ON BONUS
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is essential in upholding the highest standards for the preparation, decontamination, evaluation, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments in a precise and timely manner. Responsibilities include the sterilization, organization, and storage of medical supplies and equipment. This position requires collaboration with the Perioperative Nursing team to ensure the provision of sterile instrument sets, equipment, and case carts efficiently and accurately. Additionally, the role involves supporting a consistent workflow while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Certification as a Central Sterile Technician or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Central Sterile processing is mandatory.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
No specific licensure or certification is mandated by law.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification as a Central Service Processing Technician or Surgical Technician is advantageous.
