Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring database performance and analyzing complex information from various sources, including locally stored knowledge bases (primarily MS Excel).
  • Experience with backup and restore procedures.
  • Addressing system vulnerabilities and ensuring data integrity.
  • Configuring hardware and software to support high-availability computing services.
  • Understanding IT operations, platforms, functions, and terminology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for IT end-users.
  • Exhibit proficiency in desktop systems and various software applications.
  • Possess a solid grasp of IT hardware and networking services, including Active Directory and software installation.
  • Maintain the integrity and performance of company databases.
  • Configure database servers, whether on-premises or cloud-based, and optimize their performance.
  • Assist in planning, designing, and executing user testing initiatives.
  • Inform users of database changes and provide training on system utilization.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard company data, including firewalls and mobile device management.
  • Recommend and document quality metrics.
  • Resolve data quality issues and manage hardware and data effectively.
