Store Operations Manager

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store in the absence of management, ensuring all systems are started up and cash handling is accurate.
  • Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries and completing product returns, order voids, and customer refunds.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers and resolving issues.
  • Assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
  • Responsible for registering all related sales on assigned cash register and maintaining accurate inventory counts.
  • Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed and complete resets and revisions.
  • Responsible for basic department pricing and making daily price changes, ensuring proper signage is displayed.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as necessary.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean and neat store condition and appearance.
  • Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.

Requirements:

  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.
