Lead a High-Performing Store Team

As a Store Operations Manager at Five Below, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing store team to achieve business results. You will ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model, empowering your crew to say yes to customers.

Anticipate Customer Needs

Anticipate the needs of customers and create an amazing store environment. Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards, ensuring consistency with Brand Standards.

Develop a High-Performing Crew

Develop a high-performing crew by hiring and engaging talented employees with the necessary skills to be at the right place at the right time. Ensure people feel cared for and connected to each other, fostering a culture that values and appreciates inclusion and diversity.

Inspire Accountability

Inspire accountability by providing training, coaching, and consistent feedback to your team. Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching, performance documentation, and employee relations matters.

Drive Business Results

Drive a consistent business by analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly business results and pursuing ways to drive greater performance. Leverage reports and metrics to make decisions, including sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.

Manage Financials

Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules that balance financial responsibility with customer expectations and crew availability. Ensure the proper execution of all financial management controls, critical controls, and adherence to company policies.

Maintain a Safe Environment

Maintain an environment that is safe for customers and crew. Execute a talent plan that makes Five Below an employer of choice, attracts quality candidates, and retains the best talent.

Achieve Results

Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work and adhere to company handbook and policies as well as local, state, and federal laws.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred. Creative thinking.
