Job Summary

A key member of our care team, the Mental Health Technician II will engage with patients to promote their physical and emotional well-being. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs.

About this Role
  • This position provides service coordination and linkage to community resources, ensuring seamless transitions for patients as they progress through their treatment journey.
  • You will also play a critical role in crisis prevention and management, providing timely interventions to support patients experiencing emotional distress.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in hospital or outpatient settings, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or a related field, with relevant experience in mental health or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience, including at least one year working with Serious Psychiatric Mental Illness (SPMI) or Addictive Disease populations.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with certification in Therapeutic Recreation, Rehabilitation Counselor, or Psychosocial Rehabilitation Professional may be given preference.
